"A perfect mix between the cool melancholic North of Sweden, and the vibrant capital of Stockholm"

Biography

Every Million Miles was founded when two pairs of friends joined forces in 2008. Lead vocalist Sven Rönnqvist and keyboardist Andreas Hedlund had been writing songs together in their native Skellefteå for years. When the duo decided to move to Stockholm, they soon found natural partners in guitarists Mårten Sjölin and Paul Malmsten, who had been running a studio together.

A few years on, bass player Andreas Rolfer Wrangö and drummer Michael Sjö was brought in to complete the setup.

“It’s an example of successful online dating – it was love at first chord”, jokes Rolfer Wrangö.

The band says it makes songs worth waiting for – the music is characterized by crescive outros that goes on forever and laconic lyrics that should spark an immediate sense of recognition with anyone who has been on the roller coaster of life for a few decades.

The name Every Million Miles was adopted in 2016. Before then the band was known as Common Ground.
